Healthtech startup Pristyn Care has accelerated its shift toward a full-stack care delivery model with the launch of three new digitally integrated hospitals in Gurgaon, Hyderabad, and Kochi, bringing its total count of self-owned hospitals to eight—just four months after opening its first facility.
This expansion marks Pristyn Care’s entry into South India, significantly increasing its clinical footprint to 200,000 sq ft, including 400 beds, 20+ modular OTs, 50+ ICU beds, and a medical team exceeding 550 professionals.
From Asset-Light to Full-Stack Healthcare
Pristyn Care’s latest move comes on the heels of its February 2025 announcement, when it debuted five hospitals across Delhi-NCR within just 75 days, signaling a strategic pivot from its previously asset-light model—which relied on partnerships with third-party hospitals—to owning and operating in-house, technology-enabled surgical centers.
Now, with an additional 90,000 sq ft across three cities, the startup is building what co-founder Dr. Vaibhav Kapoor calls a “seamless, tech-first healthcare experience.”
“We are not starting from scratch; the technology is built and live,” said Kapoor. “Our next task is to stitch it into each new hospital so patients experience shorter waits, clearer communication, and truly joined-up care.”
City-Specific Specializations
Each newly launched hospital offers localized specialties to address regional healthcare needs:
- Gurgaon: Expands neonatal and women’s health services, becoming the company’s sixth facility in NCR.
- Hyderabad: Offers 24×7 trauma care, supported by tech-enabled orthopedic and joint replacement surgeries.
- Kochi: Adds emergency and riverside rehabilitation facilities, catering to patients across Kerala.
All facilities are integrated with Pristyn’s proprietary digital health stack, offering real-time clinical alerts, electronic medical records (EMRs), express discharge tooling, and one-tap insurance approvals, enhancing both operational efficiency and patient experience.
Rapid Growth and Profitability
The startup’s first hospital in Delhi achieved double-digit profitability within just eight weeks of launch—an encouraging signal that validates Pristyn Care’s vertically integrated model.
Buoyed by this momentum, the company is targeting 50 hospitals by FY28, with upcoming launches in Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Pune already in the pipeline.
Conclusion
As the Indian healthcare market undergoes a transformation driven by consumer demand for quality, speed, and digital convenience, Pristyn Care’s aggressive expansion strategy positions it as a serious contender in the tech-enabled hospital space. The startup’s move from aggregation to ownership could well redefine how surgical and specialty care is delivered in urban and Tier 2 cities alike.
