In 1994, Vikas Gutgutia’s quest for a quality bouquet in Delhi led to the inception of Ferns N Petals (FNP). Dismayed by the lack of fresh and aesthetically pleasing floral arrangements, he envisioned a brand that would revolutionize the gifting experience in India.

Key Highlights:

  • Humble Beginnings: Starting with a modest ₹5,000 and support from friends, Vikas established the first FNP outlet in Delhi’s South Extension. Facing challenges like regulatory shutdowns, he personally reached out to customers, ensuring trust and continuity.
  • Empowering Farmers: Recognizing the importance of quality, Vikas collaborated directly with local farmers, providing them with superior seeds to cultivate vibrant and long-lasting flowers.
  • Diversification and Expansion: Beyond flowers, FNP ventured into cakes, chocolates, personalized gifts, and event planning. The brand now boasts over 400 outlets across India and delivers to more than 100 countries.
  • Technological Integration: Embracing digital platforms early on, FNP launched its website in 2002, facilitating online orders and expanding its customer base.
  • Financial Milestones: From a single store, FNP has grown into a ₹4,000 crore enterprise, reflecting its significant impact on the global gifting industry.

Vikas Gutgutia’s journey underscores the power of vision and perseverance. By addressing a simple need with dedication, he transformed the gifting landscape, making FNP a household name synonymous with celebrations.
