From ₹15K to ₹74 Cr: How Ksquare Energy Is Powering India’s Solar Future

Ahmedabad, July 2025 — What started with just ₹15,000 in 2017 is now one of India’s fastest-growing solar success stories. Gujarat-based Ksquare Energy, a bootstrapped startup founded by Kuldip Sorathiya, has crossed ₹74 crore in revenue (FY 2023–24) — with ambitious plans to hit ₹1,000 crore by 2030.

The journey began when financial hurdles kept Kuldip from pursuing higher studies abroad. Instead of backing down, he started Ksquare from a 150 sq. ft. rented room in Ahmedabad, initially working as a commission agent for solar products. But it was his strategic pivot to in-house manufacturing — of ACDBs, DCDBs, SCBs, and cables — that changed the game.

A Dual Business Model That Delivers

Ksquare now runs on a two-pronged model:

  • B2C: Offering rooftop solar installations, particularly targeting rural and semi-urban homeowners
  • B2B: Supplying high-quality solar components to 650+ EPC firms across India

The company’s “5-Year Zero Loss Guarantee” — compensating clients if systems remain non-functional for over 48 hours — has made it a trusted and reliable brand in the clean energy space.

Innovation-Led Growth

To overcome issues with third-party cable quality, Ksquare launched its proprietary cable brand — Solsquare. Manufactured at a 4,500 sq. ft. R&D facility, Solsquare’s products are CE, RoHS, and ISO-certified — reflecting a deep commitment to quality and innovation.

With 130+ employees, warehouses in Ahmedabad, Pune, Lucknow, and Bengaluru, and a laser focus on grassroots growth, Ksquare is quietly leading India’s solar revolution — one rooftop at a time.
