Hunar.ai, an AI-first platform for frontline workforce management, has announced the launch of India’s first self-serve Voice AI HR agents designed specifically for small and medium businesses (SMBs). The solution enables companies to scale hiring, onboarding, and employee engagement without technical expertise or large HR teams.

The platform allows businesses to log in, configure workforce scenarios, and deploy AI HR agents in minutes. Once active, the multilingual AI agents handle tasks ranging from candidate screening and assessments to training and employee retention.

Meeting Seasonal Workforce Demands

India’s retail, logistics, and services sectors often face manpower surges during festive periods. Hunar.ai’s technology addresses these challenges by helping businesses instantly expand their HR capacity. Recently, one of India’s largest e-commerce firms used Hunar.ai to engage 250,000 frontline workers in just three days, saving 1,250 man-days of recruitment effort.

“SMBs drive employment across India, but often lack access to enterprise-grade workforce tools,” said Krishna Khandelwal, Co-founder and CEO of Hunar.ai. “With our AI HR workers, they can now scale faster, achieve better results, and reduce costs.” His co-founder, Shantanu Bhattacharyya (CTO), added that the platform was purpose-built to empower distributed and diverse workforces across India.

Key Features of the Launch

  • Self-Serve Dashboard – Launch campaigns in minutes
  • Multi-Language Support – English, Hindi, Marathi, Kannada, Telugu, Gujarati, Tamil & more
  • Versatile Use Cases – Screening, scheduling, document verification, surveys, training & engagement

A Multilingual, Inclusive Approach

Hunar.ai’s agents are optimized for hyper-local engagement, enabling deeper connections in tier-2 and tier-3 cities where regional languages dominate. By improving accessibility and empathy, the platform helps reduce attrition and build stronger workforce relationships.

About Hunar.ai

Founded in 2022 by Krishna Khandelwal and Shantanu Bhattacharyya, Hunar.ai is headquartered in Gurugram and Bengaluru. The platform combines generative AI, smart automation, and conversational interfaces like WhatsApp to serve India’s massive frontline workforce.

With this launch, Hunar.ai reinforces its mission to democratize workforce AI, empowering SMBs to boost productivity, bridge hiring gaps, and create better workplace experiences.
