Gurugram, July 24, 2025 — Mental health platform Lissun has acquired US based Being Cares Inc, marking a strategic move to deepen its child‑centred behavioral care technology and clinical services. The acquisition brings Being Cares’ AI intelligence and team under Lissun’s roof, strengthening its AI-driven, family-focused mental health ecosystem.

AI-Powered Mental Mapping Meets Clinical Care

Being Cares, known as the “Google Maps for Mental Health”, uses an AI engine that processes over 2,500 causes and real-world effects, mapping more than 40 emotional and behavioral conditions from anxiety and burnout to autism and ADHD. The platform serves nearly 1 million global users.

With this acquisition, Lissun combines therapist-led clinical interventions—already available through its Sunshine centres with Being’s hyper personalized AI, delivering tailored therapy paths for families via its virtual assistant, Ray.

Leadership, Scale, and the Road Ahead

Co-founders Varun Gandhi (CEO) and Abhishek Sharma (CTO) of Being Cares have joined Lissun as Chief Product Officer and Chief Technology Officer, respectively, bringing deep AI and product expertise.
Lissun plans to grow its Sunshine centres from 20 to over 200 in the next 2–4 years, while scaling Ray via WhatsApp to reach millions of households.

Founded in 2021, Lissun touched ₹10 crore in revenue in FY25 and has built a phygital care model combining online engagement and in-person therapy.

Why It Matters

  • Full-spectrum support: From early detection in children to real-time digital guidance and clinical follow-through.
  • Homegrown AI-led care: Demonstrates how digital innovation can strengthen India’s mental healthcare infrastructure.
  • Scalable impact: The integrated model promises broad reach in urban, semi-urban, and remote communities.

Strategic Insight:
This acquisition positions Lissun as India’s first comprehensive, AI-powered mental health ecosystem blending child development, parent support, clinical care, and intelligent triage into one mission driven platform.
