Bengaluru, July 2025 — Shashank Shekhar, former Head of Content Strategy and Operations at ShareChat, is venturing into the edtech space with a new AI-driven learning startup. The platform aims to provide personalized skill development for young professionals and job seekers, leveraging artificial intelligence to tailor learning experiences.
Currently in stealth mode, the startup is in the process of raising $4 million in funding, with Peak XV Partners expected to lead the round. The capital will be utilized to expand the AI and product teams, enhance platform development, and prepare for an initial rollout later this year.
Drawing parallels to platforms like Seekho, Shekhar’s venture is poised to compete in the burgeoning online upskilling market, offering AI-powered personalized learning paths. With the increasing demand for career-focused learning solutions, the platform is anticipated to attract a significant user base upon launch.
Shekhar’s journey includes co-founding Circle Internet, a hyperlocal information platform acquired by ShareChat in August 2020. His return as a founder underscores a commitment to leveraging technology for impactful solutions in the education sector.
