The Tarzan Way (TTW), an AI-powered traveltech startup, has raised ₹2 crore in a fresh funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV). The round also saw participation from Your Trips Limited (UK), Prateek Maheshwari (Founder, PhysicsWallah), and several other angel investors.

Fund Utilization Plans

The newly secured capital will be directed toward:

  • Product development
  • Operational efficiency
  • Marketing campaigns
  • Team expansion
  • Launch of its “Exploration App”, an AI-driven platform for customised global travel planning

What is The Tarzan Way?

Founded in 2020 by Shikhar Chadha and Shivank Tripathi, The Tarzan Way is redefining travel planning with its AI-powered intelligent travel companion that offers:

  • Hyper-personalised itineraries
  • One-click booking engine
  • 24/7 AI + human concierge support
  • Global holiday experiences curated in minutes

Unlike traditional platforms, TTW blends technology with emotional storytelling, ensuring that each travel plan becomes a lasting memory, not just a schedule.

“Our passion lies in creating memories that last. We don’t just plan trips; we help people craft stories,” said Shikhar Chadha, Co-founder.

Performance Snapshot

  • 300% YoY revenue growth
  • 70% MoM user growth
  • ₹13.5 crore+ in Gross Booking Value (GBV)
  • 35,000+ social media followers
  • 10 million+ content views

Sector Outlook

India’s travel & tourism market, valued at $199 billion in 2023, is projected to reach $512 billion by 2028. Startups like TTW are well-positioned to leverage this boom, especially with the shift towards personalised, tech-enabled, and immersive travel.

What’s Next?

The launch of the upcoming Exploration App will mark a major milestone, offering users a smart, seamless, and soulful way to discover destinations—powered by AI, crafted for authenticity.

“This is more than just a funding round—it’s a vote of confidence in reimagining travel through AI, empathy, and intelligent systems,” added Chadha.
